We had a good turnout at our V.O.C.meeting tonight.
2 new potential members came. Wewelcome anyone that wants to come find out more about our Union.

​representative BRETT and I spent a week together for the first time and I really enjoyed working with him. He has a lot of good ideas and he has ambition and wants the best for all of the locals that he represents. We had a lot of success this week ( I think we had four new applications ) and hope to be able to work together in the future.

I’m always real nervous about how many people are going to show up. We put a lot of work into the VOC meeting and until the last minute it’s hard to say whether it will pay off or not. But we had 11 people show up and two of them were not members which is the whole point. I feel like it was a success and if we keep headed in that direction we can make it better.
