OSHA has renewed its relationship with the National Association of Women in Construction. What’s new?
Osha, the occupational safety and health administration has renewed it’s alliance with the national association of women in construction, NAWIC by continuing their partnership with the Osha Alliance Program. Their continued partnership will focus on things such as safety in the workplace and PPE For women. What? Whats wrong with the personal protective equipment we already have? It’s a little known fact that a lot of the women in the workplace have a hard time fitting into their personal protective equipment that was designed for men and it can become a safety concern. So why the partnership? In their wisdom OSHA realizes that by partnering with NAWIC they will be able to get information to women through their website and publications as well as webcast training and social media quicker and thus be able to keep women safer in the workplace.
